Students of the Year is a philanthropic leadership development program during which students utilize professional skills such as entrepreneurship, marketing, and project management in order to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The title Student(s) of the Year is awarded to the student or student team in each community who raises the most funds during the 7-week competition.

Topeka Zoo Youth Council
The Topeka Zoo Youth Council plans events to educate about conservation, promote teen attendance at the zoo, and raise money for the council so that it can continue to host these events at the zoo (our council is non-profit and consists entirely of volunteers). This is an excellent volunteer opportunity for students to get involved in their communities.
