Model UN

Randy Crome

Model United Nations is an organization that meets periodically from September through March each school year. The group is open to all students, but especially to those who are interested in the following areas: social studies in general (foreign affairs and geography in particular), debate and forensics. The group's main focus is to prepare for the Topeka Model UN event that takes place in early March every year. At this two-day event members represent different nations in a United Nations simulation with more than 500 other students from across the state. There is a membership fee of $8.
